"Home of the secret listeners". Trent Park Museum explores the extraordinary work of the Secret listeners. During World War 2 Trent Park, one of London's grandest houses was converted into a prisoner of war camp for high ranking German officers. Realising that traditional interrogation techniques would be unlikely to work the building was extensively bugged and conversations recorded by a team of operators located in the basement. The intelligence from the centre was considered to be vital to the war effort and on a par with Bletchley Park. Our role was to provide a cost plan for use in setting budgets and negotiating with the owners. Terms have now been agreed and the project is moving onto the pre-contract stage.
