AMA provided a full PQS service on this challenging project to refurbish and extend the Grade II listed 3 storey dormitory block. The project involved the extension of the music teaching facility and the restoration of a glazed atrium at this prestigious independent school. AMA’s services included the provision of a bill of quantities, procurement advice and cost management.
The extension was delivered on budget with the close proximity to ‘live’ school buildings just one of the many challenges successfully overcome. AMA enjoyed a close working relationship with the Haileybury school and have since completed further building projects for the client..
“Haileybury has been working with Andrew Morton Associates for a number of years. Their unstinting professionalism has without doubt added to the success of our building projects. We look forward to the next undertaking and will be seeking their help”

AMA are providing a full PQS service to Wesley House supporting their complex reordering project of their Grade 2 listed college building. The project will deliver enhanced student accommodation and a high quality teaching block including a library and dining room. The project is made up of 5 separate projects, with a large amount of refurbishment and rebuilding works including new build. Site access for contractors is one of the key challenges in this Cambridge city centre location.
Andrew Morton has proved to be an excellent member of our project team, offering sound judgement and advice, based on carefully weighed considerations. Thanks to him, the trustees feel we have been able to keep a grip on the project budget, and he and his colleagues are a pleasure to work with.’
